Back then the 7-seater 3.2-litre diesel Pajero Sport was only available in a tiptronic automatic model. The downside of this was that not only was it competing against similar derivatives but also manual and petrol models of its major competitor. Now the playing field has been levelled somewhat with the introduction of a manual diesel model.
